When I was young I'd pledge allegiance to the flag, Independence filled my heart for lady liberty. Then i got older and got busted for something lame, NOW i can see that little bitch just likes to play dirty.

When I was young we'd have somebody buy us beer. we'd pool together all our cash and choose the cheapest brew. As i got older and got passed the drinking age, getting served no longer meaned that I must act my age.

Swimming in a sinking circle, treading water sinking down. Floating backwards reaching for life. no direction I have found.

When I was young my nose was in the television from the time I'd rise until I'd lie, I'd waste away my day. A fantasy lost upon the isle of Gilligan. Can you beam me up with Scotty's luck we'll end up lost in space.

As i got o;der I wanted to smash my TV up , there's advertisement, advertisement, nothing on today. I don't believe a single thing I hear or see, they control our minds we must awake and smell conspiracy.

Losing, nothing gained, I cry for life but nothing's sane. grasping for a future falling I still have to pay... my dues but I just walk away, I can't go on, can't escape what hovers over me, my world, spinning backwards falling on my face, I can't go on, as i step out slowly I fade Im losing my way.

Solo

When I was young my father smoked a cigarette, a marlboro in a red soft pack it looked so good to me. As I get older and I scrape to feed my crave, I must admit, I just regret, when he bums a cig from me.

A little bit older and another cigarette, A filterless, tobacco less, it taste so good to me. As I get older and I bury myself in debt, I must admit I still enjoy all my dependencies.

My dependencies depend on me.
